Cumprido esse objetivo, procura-se ir um pouco mais longe e aprender a analisar e diagnosticar a situação financeira da empresa e das eventuais causas que podem estar por detrás de situações financeiras difíceis. O conhecimento das causas é um primeiro passo para dar os remédios oportunos e antecipar os seus efeitos previsíveis.
A experiência demonstra que, com um mínimo de rigor e método, os participantes aprendem a retirar conclusões relevantes sobre a saúde financeira das empresas em análise e dos remédios adequados para os casos difíceis.
Na 2ª parte deste módulo abordar-se-ão questões como: o que é valor? O que dá valor a um ativo? Como se estima o valor de um ativo? Como se devem escolher ativos, i.e., avaliar investimentos? Será dada ênfase ao estudo e aplicação das metodologias da família do DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) como o VAL e a TIR. Ver-se-ão exemplos da sua aplicação na escolha entre comprar e alugar, análise financeira de projetos de investimento, e avaliação de empresas em vários contextos. Neste bloco, o foco estará na determinação dos cash-flows esperados, com uma ligeira incursão no da taxa de desconto apropriada ao risco desses cash-flows. Os participantes, mesmo que menos conhecedores da área financeira ficam com os conhecimentos básicos das técnicas que se utilizam para analisar investimentos.

      No módulo de introdução às Finanças Corporativas procura-se ajudar a entender as Demonstrações de Resultados e Balanços, e ir um pouco mais longe e aprender a analisar e diagnosticar a situação financeira da empresa e das eventuais causas que podem estar por detrás de situações financeiras difíceis. O conhecimento das causas é um primeiro passo para dar os remédios oportunos e antecipar os seus efeitos previsíveis. A experiência demonstra que, com um mínimo de rigor e método, os participantes aprendem a retirar conclusões relevantes para o andamento das empresas, capacitando-os para tomar decisões fundamentadas.
      A direção de uma equipa de vendas pressupõe um cuidado e uma atenção concreta às e aos vendedores, aos instrumentos motivacionais e às políticas. Quem a dirige pode, com uma atitude errada, frustrar e paralisar uma força de vendas, e fazer algo que a concorrência agradecerá seguramente: ter o vendedor a discutir com a sua chefia sobre as injustiças a que está sujeito. Como cuidar da motivação de uma força de vendas nestes momentos desafiantes por que passamos? No plano comercial é também importante cuidar dos aspetos negociais. Uma negociação profissional pode, e deve, ser preparada. Há decisões a tomar durante a negociação, que poderão ser tanto mais acertadas quanto mais tivermos preparado a negociação. Como preparar uma negociação para ser bem sucedida?
      O trabalho em equipa é uma de várias formas de colaboração, visando atingir uma determinada eficácia. O elemento diferenciador de uma equipa são as pessoas, pois cada uma delas é irrepetível. É imperativo apostar nas pessoas, alimentando a sua motivação e potenciando o talento de cada um. Contudo, as pessoas também constituem a dimensão mais desafiante da Direção. Para dirigir equipas são necessárias competências que um líder não pode descurar.

          Este é o objetivo do short program “Finanças para não Financeiros” – com base em casos práticos e em simuladores de gestão, aprender e trabalhar em equipa métodos de análise financeira que suportem o diagnóstico e a decisão.
          A gestão das organizações implica decisões de curto ou de médio e longo prazo. As diferentes abordagens tornam relevante o conhecimento de conceitos e técnicas na perspetiva da contabilidade e controlo de gestão, como na perspetiva da gestão financeira das organizações. Reconhecendo esta realidade, o short program “Finanças para não Financeiros” adapta-se aos distintos objetivos dos participantes organizando-se em dois módulos sequenciais e complementares:
          • Contabilidade financeira, análise de custos e controlo de gestão; • Finanças operativas e finanças estruturais do negócio
          Em função das suas necessidades individuais, os participantes poderão inscrever-se em ambos os módulos ou apenas naquele onde necessitam de atualização específica de conhecimentos.
          Cada módulo, distribuído por 2 dias completos, será composto por cerca de 8 sessões, a maioria das quais dedicada suportadas em casos práticos de estudo, completadas por sessões pontuais de fundamentação técnica.

            • A trabalhar técnicas de custeio no suporte a decisões operacionais e estratégicas
            • A estimar a evolução das necessidades operativas de fundos na sua empresa e como as financiar
            • A projetar e decidir sobre a estrutura ótima de financiamento no médio e longo prazo
            • A entender a relação entre as decisões de financiamento e a criação de valor na organização
            • A estruturar a análise de projetos de investimento e a sua rentabilidade esperada.
