Maria de F\u00e1tima Carioca has been Dean of AESE Business School since 2014 and a Professor in the area of the Human Factor in Organisations since 2005.<\/p>\n\n
She holds a PhD in Management from Manchester Business School \u2013 The University of Manchester, a degree in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico, and a Master\u2019s in Systems and Computer Engineering from the same university. She also holds a Master\u2019s in Marriage and Family from the University of Navarra. <\/p>\n\n
Co-founder of Edisoft \u2013 a software services and development company, where she held various roles in Business and People Management for around 20 years.<\/p>\n\n
At AESE, she coordinates initiatives and studies in the areas of People Management, Talent, the Future of Work, Work\u2013Family Balance, Family Businesses, Leadership and Business Ethics. She is the author of several articles and case studies and a co-author of several books, including \u201cFree Markets with Sustainability and Solidarity: Facing the Challenge\u201d, \u201cO que deves saber sobre \u00e9tica\u201d, \u201cEsperan\u00e7a e Reinven\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d and, more recently, \u201cO Futuro do Trabalho\u201d. <\/strong>She is married and the mother of three children.<\/p>\n\n
