Agust\u00edn Avil\u00e9s is a Professor of Business Policy and Negotiation.<\/p>\n\n
He holds a Degree and a PhD in Naval Engineering from the Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid, and an MBA from IESE.<\/p>\n\n
Professor Avil\u00e9s served as Production Director in the naval sector (5 years), Technical Project Director (5 years), Director of international programs and working groups (6 years), and Deputy General Manager at a business school (1.5 years).<\/p>\n\n
His professional experience includes 7 years in General Management consulting at The Mac Group, Global Business & Finance, and other international consulting firms in Madrid. He is currently a partner in a Spanish consulting group in Madrid and an independent director. <\/p>\n\n
In academia, he has served as an Assistant Professor at E.T.S. Ingenieros Navales at the U. Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid, a faculty member at the Madrid Business School, a collaborating professor at the Centro de Estudios Superiores de la Defensa Nacional (CESEDEN), and a collaborator at the Instituto Internacional San Telmo, Seville, since 1992.<\/p>\n\n
He has been a collaborating professor at the Escuela de Guerra Naval and the Centro de Estudios Superiores de Intendencia de la Armada since 1993. He is also a collaborating professor at the Instituci\u00f3n Empresarial Europea, Madrid, and a faculty member at AESE Business School in Lisbon and IESE in Madrid. <\/p>\n\n
Prof. Agust\u00edn Avil\u00e9s received the UPM Extraordinary Prize (1985), two Naval Merit Crosses (1988 and 2000), and an Honorable Mention from the Direcci\u00f3n de Ense\u00f1anza Naval \u2013 Ministry of Defense (2005).<\/p>\n\n
He is the author of books, cases, articles, and publications on naval-technical subjects, Negotiation, and Business Policy.<\/p>\n\n
