Filipe Janela is a Lisbon-based professional with experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, notably at Roche. His career has been marked by a strong focus on business development, strategic planning, and innovation. Throughout his role at Roche, he contributed to the implementation of key initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and delivering value through healthcare solutions. He worked closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align commercial goals with long-term strategic objectives, supporting both product development and market access processes.
Filipe has also pursued the Executive MBA at AESE Business School. During this programme, he enhanced his leadership and decision-making skills while gaining deep insights into corporate strategy, finance, and innovation management. His exposure to case-based learning and collaboration with international executives allowed him to broaden his strategic thinking and apply best practices in real-world business contexts.
He is fluent in both Portuguese and English and has developed a strong set of competencies in stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and the implementation of strategic initiatives.
