O exemplo é o do Hospital Arcebispo João Crisóstomo e o seu projeto “O Hospital Amigo dos + Velhos” que implicou a reinvenção das estruturas destinadas à prestação de cuidados, com foco na humanização dos serviços e no respeito pela individualidade da pessoa idosa.
Fundamentado na metodologia americana 4Ms (Motivação, Medicação, Estado Mental e Mobilidade), parte da identificação das necessidades dos utentes, utilizando escalas, escuta ativa do doente e a rede social de apoio, promovendo assim uma abordagem integral aos cuidados geriátricos.
Para partilhar, debater e apresentar as vivências, soluções e melhorias, contamos com Diana Vilela Breda, Administradora Hospitalar, ULS Coimbra e Alumna do PADIS - Programa de Alta Direção de Instituições de Saúde, exerceu o cargo de Presidente do Conselho Diretivo do Hospital Arcebispo João Crisóstomo, até 2023.
