A obra é resultado da colaboração de mais de vinte professores da AESE, do IESE e das escolas afiliadas do IESE na América Latina. O livro analisa o trabalho de CEO’s atuais em Portugal, Espanha e na América Latina, numa abordagem que engloba as suas funções de estrategas, criadores de estruturas organizacionais e líderes institucionais.
Além disso, o livro apresenta uma perspetiva humanista baseada na convicção de que a manutenção de altos padrões éticos é uma condição prévia para o crescimento saudável e de longo prazo das empresas e, mais importante, para o desenvolvimento de seus membros. 
Na sessão, dois co-editores e co-autores do livro, o Prof. Joan Enric Ricart e o Prof. Adrián Caldart, apresentarão as bases que justificam o apelo a práticas humanistas de gestão. Também focaremos os principais temas inerentes à estratégia, organização e governança corporativa tratados no livro.

Dedicamos quase todo o nosso tempo a realizar múltiplas tarefas, projetos e planos a nível profissional e, com algum malabarismo, ao fim do dia e nos fins de semana, aos filhos. É frequente pensar que a relação em casal se trabalha por si própria, apenas na partilha das dificuldades, desafios e planos vividos em comum.
“Amor para a vida – Novos desafios” não pretende ser uma solução única para a relação a dois ou em família, mas sim um tempo de reflexão, em casal, um momento para aprender com outros casais, como encontrar solução para problemas atuais e, principalmente, ferramentas para identificar e potenciar a solução de futuros desafios.
Como indivíduos somos capazes de viver e navegar a esfera profissional e pessoal de uma forma mais ou menos sistemática, mas muitas vezes, é-nos difícil conciliar, de forma equilibrada, os distintos aspetos do dia a dia. Este programa é uma oportunidade, na partilha de experiências similares, de trabalhar para encontrar um ponto de equilíbrio, a dois.

O Banco DBS é a instituição bancária mais relevante do Sudeste Asiático e empreendeu um percurso para a transformação digital no final do ano 2013. Em paralelo à criação de uma nova unidade que designou Digibank e que liderou a expansão do Banco a novos mercados, DBS avançou com o Programa Digital Mindset para ajudar a transformar a empresa a partir de dentro. O caso, que toma como principio o ano 2015, descreve os momentos chave para conseguir implementar o processo de transformação digital e a estratégia adotada pelo novo CEO para melhorar o nível de satisfação dos clientes do Banco.

No século XXI, uma multiplicidade de empresas tradicionais ou mais recentes, desenvolveram iniciativas relevantes que tornaram o Vinho português um produto de elevada qualidade avaliado objetivamente por padrões internacionais.
Algumas destas empresas contam com os seus próprios departamentos de Investigação & Desenvolvimento Experimental com laboratórios bem equipados e outras associam-se entre si ou contam com a colaboração de laboratórios do Estado. Por outro lado, as Universidades, com os seus núcleos de investigação e as suas licenciaturas, têm dado um importante contributo ao desenvolvimento da vitivinicultura. 
A contribuição de abertura caberá ao INESC-TEC*, que irá apresentar alguns dos seus projetos na área agrícola, em operação ou em desenvolvimento. A importância da I&D no ecossistema vitivinícola será abordada no debate, com o testemunho dos laboratórios do Estado, de uma associação privada e de várias empresas. 
No encerramento dos trabalhos, o Vice-Reitor da UTAD - Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto-Douro sublinhará o importante papel desempenhado pelas universidades e outras instituições do Ensino Superior público e privado. Por fim, será feita a apresentação da PORVID, que agrega entidades públicas e privadas portuguesas que se juntaram para promover a conservação das castas de videira presentes naturalmente no seu território. O encontro termina com a visita ao Pólo Experimental Central para a Conservação da Variabilidade das Videiras Autóctones.
