An Electrical Engineer from the University of Coimbra, he holds postgraduate qualifications in Information Systems Management (IST) and Renewable Energy Management (Universidade Católica Portuguesa). He also holds the AESE/IESE Executive MBA in Management and is currently a PhD candidate at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in the field of Digital Transformation.
He began his career at EDP as an engineer in the National Energy Dispatch, later taking on the role of Project Manager for the Iberian Energy Market (REN/OMIP). He was a Board Director at Martifer Renewables and General Manager at Pollet Water Group and Plenitude.
He is currently a Professor of Strategy at AESE Business School, at the University of Krakow, at Naples Business School and at Krakow Business School, and is also a Visiting Assistant Lecturer in the Departments of Computer Engineering and Engineering and Management at IST.
He is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council.
