The weekly analyses of cases, not always restricted to the health area, demonstrate that behind the leadership there should always be trust based on a deep knowledge of a context that is combined with an active and continuous listening to our employees, trying to meet their concerns and needs. And thus, building a true institutional culture in which everyone is highly motivated and mobilizes around a common goal.

Participating in PADIS was a multidimensional experience that clearly exceeded my expectations.

The spirit that is lived is one of great camaraderie between colleagues and teachers, in a quiet environment and total availability that provides an easy acquisition of knowledge. With this program, I intended to fill gaps in my personal training, which I considered essential for a better performance of management and management functions.

After all, personal relationships are important and should also be reflected in business cultures. It was impressive to see that, even in areas that were not so familiar to us, such as accounting or finance, the dynamics of the cases and the questions we had to answer, guided our thinking to follow the sessions.

The visit to the University Clinic of Navarra was another enriching experience. The success of the procedures and a structured organization built and grounded over the years will always be a source of inspiration for all those who want to deliver value to the patient.

And, although it didn’t correspond to the last class, I think that the culmination of this Program was the Emergency Service Simulation Game. With great creativity, an environment with multiple operations has been created in which various stakeholders try to scrupulously fulfill their duties and reflect on those of the others, so that in the end their team wins. With hints of the real emergency service, the most important thing, once again, was the quick adaptation of a group to a new context imbued with a strong team spirit.

At the end of it all, I am convinced that we will all take PADIS to our Institutions and that we will recognize many of the examples that we study in the cases, in our daily lives. That is the way to prepare for what we have to face!
