He has published over 25 cases in the areas of financial accounting, management accounting and personal financial management. He is the co-author of the book Contabilidade Descodificada (Almedina, 2020-2025) and the author of the simulation games Golden Valley, Energia Ventus (financial recording, reporting and analysis) and Sierra Shoes (economic analysis of decisions).
He has been a Professor at AESE Business School since 2003, in the areas of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Management Control Systems. He teaches in several executive programs, seminars and specific programs for companies, in Portugal (AESE), France (SKEMA) and Italy (IPE).
He is a consultant in the areas of business development, financial consulting, mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the footwear sector.
He is a founding partner of netshoe.com and kaitencapital.pt, operating in Portugal and India. He was Associate Dean of AESE Business School between 2013 and 2023 and President of Associação Verão Diferente between 2018 and 2025.
He is a founding member and Director of the Portugal-India Friendship Association, President of the Supervisory Board of the JMJ Foundation, President of the Supervisory Board of AESE, and Secretary of the General Assembly of the Portuguese Aikido Federation. His hobbies are aviation and Aikido, being a pilot of ultra-light aircraft and practicing at the Budokai in Lisbon.

She was born in March 1959 in Lisbon.
She has a degree in Accounting and Administration, at the Escola Militar IPE and in Business Management at ISOCT. She held the 33rd PADE in AESE, Ethics and Corporate Responsibility by UC, Executive and Team Coaching, both by EEC and, more recently, Kellogg | Catholic Advanced Management Program.
It began in 1981 in a Construction Company and until 1988, held the position of Financial Director in two other companies, in a Maritime Transport Company and in an International Textile Company.
In 1988, she began the implantation in Portugal of the INDITEX Group, where she held until June 30, 2017, the position of General Director of its companies in Portugal. She left the company with 350 stores, more than 6000 employees and a turnover of more than 900 million Euros. In accumulation of functions, she have several projects in the international area.
Today she is Executive Coach, Consultant, Professor and Member of the General Council at AESE Business School.
On a personal level she considers herself attentive and involved with issues of an ecological and social nature. She has always practiced different sports, but it was in Yoga that she found herself. She likes music, theater and opera, but above all loves to travel and immerse herself in other cultures.

He completed the Executive MBA (1996-1997), from the Instituto Empresarial Portuense / ESADE, and a Post-Graduation in European Economics (1981-1982), from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Lisbon.

He is currently Director of PADE - Program of High Management of Companies, at AESE Business School, since 2002, and Professor at AESE in the area of ​​Company Policy. He has been practicing consulting services under a liberal regime since 2001.

Since 2009, he has been a lecturer at ISEC - Higher Institute of Education and Sciences and is the director of Marketing in the Master in Graphic Technologies.

He is a visiting professor at the Portuguese Catholic University. He also lectured at the Universidade Lusíada, at the Post-Graduation in Health Services Management (2010/2007); at the Lusíada University, as Assistant to the Marketing and Marketing Chairs II, in the Degree in Management (2001/2003), at the ISPA - Higher Institute of Applied Psychology, as Assistant to the Chairs of Introduction to Management and Advanced Management Topics, in the Master in Organizational Behavior (2001/2002); and also at the ISEC - Higher Institute of Education and Sciences, as Assistant of the Chair of Introduction to Economics and Management, in the Degree in Design and Graphic Production.

From 1982 to 1983, he was a Technician from the Office of Economic Studies and the Office of European Studies at the Confederation of Commerce. From 1983 to 1986, he was Economist of the Technical Office of the Commercial Direction of Porto, in the Portuguese Predial Credit. From 1986 to 1989, he was a Technician at the Business Marketing Department at Banco Comercial Português, where he was appointed as Director from 1989 to 2001.
