João Martins da Cunha holds a degree in Civil Engineering from IST. He obtained a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid and also in Organizational Governance (University of Navarra). He attended the PDE at AESE. He earned his doctorate from the Instituto Empresa y Humanismo at the University of Navarra, with a thesis on “Interpersonal Communication,” for which the Faculty awarded him the outstanding prize of that year.
He spent several years in the management of NGOs. He devoted himself to teaching from 1986 onwards. He has been teaching at AESE since 2001, where he lectures in the areas of Human Behavior, Communication, Leadership, Motivation, and Negotiation.
He is currently Executive Director of two educational cooperatives.
