I am sure that the leverage of this program was one of the pillars of this growth.

When I took the PDE – Business Management Program, about 16 years ago, I felt that my professional challenges at Capgemini were immense and that’s why, after seeing several programs in other similar – but not the same – schools, I enrolled in the PDE. I had already done other softer programs at AESE, such as negotiation, finance. But I opted for this program, without a doubt.

At AESE, I highlight the people who make up the Board, the Directors of the programs and the Professors, and the way we relate to each other. Above all, the experience goes beyond just being on a show. All the interim initiatives provided by this School contribute. I have a great affection for AESE. We are always very well received.

I highlight the pace we have to have during the EDP. If we don’t have it, it’s not worth attending the program. This pace also has to do with the interest and complexity of some of the cases and the way in which we review their applicability in our organizations. We see ourselves, whether in the area where we are, or in others. There is a very healthy discussion between the group and the subgroups.

Of course, it was a difficult period of reconciliation between professional life, the PDE and the Family itself, which sometimes also participated in the study of the cases.

What did PDE leverage? Before doing the EDP, my organization had a workforce of approximately 600 people, had a turnover of around 30 million euros, and now the same organization has a workforce of 4300 people and a turnover of close to 200 million euros. I am sure that the leverage of this program was one of the pillars of this growth.

Regarding networking, 15 years later, last Friday, I was having dinner with my colleagues from the PDE program. It is very important to network at lunches, breakfasts and other moments of sharing. He has a professional interest from a business point of view with other organizations, taking into account the functions I perform. But also from the point of view of my organization, to find solutions internally. We help each other solve problems within our organizations. In other words, we all have concerns on a daily basis, which we formally or informally shared. From this came ideas because we had different experiences and came from different areas. It was very gratifying. This was not only in the past. We still do it today. We remain in permanent contact, whenever we have a topic to share an idea, concern or challenge. These relationships between people, whether personal or professional, are fundamental.

Coincidence or not, I am currently part of the Executive Committee of a large organization. I have no doubt that this program helped a lot in the relationship with people and in the management of the company. The human factor was worked on a lot. It helped to improve my way of being and to be the person I am today.
