O caso “Tate Museum” é centrado na figura de John Stack o visionário Diretor de Transformação Digital. A Tate - quatro grandes galerias de arte do Reino Unido - inclui a Tate Modern, a galeria mais visitada do mundo, dedicada à arte moderna e contemporânea.
Stack foi o arquiteto da “quinta galeria” da Tate, a Tate online. Para lá chegar foi preciso passar por dois processos de planeamento de estratégia digital. O sucesso do trabalho da equipa de Tate ficou patente no desenvolvimento da quinta galeria da Tate virtual, repleto de conteúdo, atividades, experiências e ligação com a comunidade.
Preparando o futuro, Stack trabalhou na criação de uma nova estratégia digital, que incluía o digital como uma dimensão de tudo o que a Tate fazia, tanto física quanto virtualmente. O que levantou questões importantes sobre a estrutura organizacional, estratégia de marketing, design de produtos e serviços e ROI.
