Madalena Reis é actualmente Administradora da Fundação Centro Cultural de Belém. Também é membro do Conselho de Curadores da Fundação Millenniumbcp. Integrou a redação da Revista L+arte, e tem um percurso profissional ligado a instituições culturais, designadamente o Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga e a Casa das Histórias Paula Rego.
Mantém estreita colaboração com a Fundação Abel e João de Lacerda - Museu do Caramulo.
É Licenciada em História da Arte pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa, e frequentou o Mestrado em Estudos Curatoriais, na Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa. Em 2019 concluiu o PDE | Programa de Direcção de Empresas, da AESE Business School.
