Pela partilha da experiência de outros colegas da empresa onde trabalho, alunos de anteriores PDE´S, sabia que teria uns meses exigentes pela frente, mas muito compensadores - pelos temas abordados, pela qualidade dos professores e ainda mais pelo convívio entre colegas.
As expectativas foram largamente superadas - frequentar um PDE é de facto um momento transformador - pessoal e profissionalmente, que vamos sentindo semana a semana, à medida que nos vamos familiarizando com a metodologia de estudo - o método CASO, pelas discussões no grupo de trabalho, pelas experiências e desafios partilhados com os nossos colegas.
Os temas apresentados em cada disciplina são cuidadosamente preparados, todos muito relevantes pela sua pertinência e atualidade, e sempre com a oportunidade de motivar a discussão saudável entre todos, professores e alunos.
O Grupo que se constrói ao longo da viagem de 20 semanas de um PDE, sempre apoiado pela primorosa organização da equipa da AESE, é a mais compensadora das experiências.
E quando estamos a meio do nosso percurso, em que o cansaço e a desmotivação começam a pairar – porque como o diretor do nosso PDE nos diz “isto é para pessoas ocupadas”, partimos para as aulas em Madrid, no IESE, cujos dias primaram pelo planeamento e organização exímia das sessões de aulas, pelas novas aprendizagens e a oportunidade de conhecermos uma escola de negócios internacional. Claro que, como a vida não pode ser só trabalho, os momentos de convívio, para além de nos aliviarem a mente, criam um verdadeiro espírito de pertença a uma comunidade.
Concluído o nosso percurso, o que fica é um sentimento agridoce – porque aprendemos muito e partilhamos ainda mais, mas deixamos para trás os almoços semanais com os nossos colegas e a equipa que nos apoiou, sempre atentos a todos os pormenores e disponíveis, a quem não posso deixar de agradecer – ao Adolfo, à Teresa e ao Carlos. Ao frequentar o PDE consegui desenvolver capacidades e aptidões que me permite enfrentar essas situações.
A aplicação do Método do Caso no curso do PDE obrigou-nos a estudar e a tomar decisões sobre casos reais. Este método possibilita uma aprendizagem menos teórica e mais prática sobre os atos de liderança e de gestão.
A capacidade e preocupação que cada professor revelou em manter-nos interessados e motivados nas várias áreas de aprendizagem foi um fator preponderante para o sucesso do PDE.
