É por isso que a aprendizagem na AESE é inspirada no modelo da Harvard Business School. Ao colocar os participantes em face de conflitos empresariais verídicos, os dirigentes são chamados a assumir o papel de decisores em circunstâncias semelhantes às do seu dia a dia nas organizações. Os casos constituem desafios que exigem respostas eficazes perante uma análise rigorosa de informação limitada ou até insuficiente, em contextos ambíguos ou complexos do ponto de vista político-económico. O diagnóstico individual e as decisões são negociadas com colegas experientes, talentosos e ambiciosos.

Atualmente, o Método do Caso destaca-se como um meio sofisticado, orientado para a transformação de talento potencial dos participantes em poderosa capacidade na tomada de decisões. A AESE mantém-se na liderança do ensino com o Método do Caso em Portugal.

Os casos produzidos pela AESE integram a base de dados da ECCH, o mais utilizado repositório mundial de casos ao serviço das Business Schools internacionais.

Fases do Método do Caso
  • O estudo individual dos casos é seguido de uma discussão em grupo.
  • Os Learning Teams ajudam a preparar os casos num ambiente colaborante, criando a oportunidade para pôr as ideias à prova.
  • As salas de aula da sede foram especialmente desenhadas a pensar no ensino com o Método do Caso.
[/av_toggle] [av_toggle title='Parcerias' tags=''] O enorme potencial do mercado chinês, em dimensão e crescimento, e o que representa, como ameaça e/ou oportunidade, são frequentemente mal-entendidos. Fazer negócios na China não é fácil: cultural, económica e politicamente a realidade é muito diferente da portuguesa, e essas diferenças podem constituir uma barreira para a entrada nesse mundo. Ao longo do programa – que inclui visitas a empresas – e sessões na CEIBS - China Europe International Business School, serão abordados, entre outros, os seguintes tópicos: o mundo chinês (aspetos culturais, geopolíticos e macroeconómicos); aspetos estratégicos, organizacionais e competitivos na gestão de empresas em face da China; questões jurídicas e fiscais da operacionalização de negócios. O programa desta estadia conta com a colaboração do Cônsul Português local e da AICEP.
  • Aprofunda as oportunidades empresariais no espaço lusófono, incluindo um intercâmbio com dirigentes e empresários angolanos – do PADE da Angola School of Management – em Lisboa.
  • A estadia em Xangai contribui para alargar o conhecimento dos participantes sobre este vasto mercado emergente, ao mesmo tempo que permite lançar os alicerces.
