Antonio Gameiro Marques
António Gameiro Marques Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

Rear Admiral António Gameiro Marques entered the Naval Academy in 1976, having completed his degree in Naval Military Sciences in 1981. Specialized in Communications, he attended, from 1984 to 1987, the Master of Science Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, USA.

After returning to Portugal, he participated in the Vasco da Gama Class Frigates project, including the respective training and certification in the Flag Officer of Sea Straining from 1991 to 1998. After attending the NATO Defence College in Rome, between 2004 and 2007 he served as Military Advisor to the Portuguese Ambassador to NATO. Promoted to Rear Admiral in November 2008, he was the first CIO of the Portuguese Navy (2010 to 2013), Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense (2013 to 2016). From 1 September 2016 to 31 May 2025, he was Director-General of the National Security Authority, which includes the National Cybersecurity Centre in its structure.

In the academic year 2013/2014, he completed the Senior Management Program at AESE/IESE Business School and in October/November 2023 the 10th Non-Executive Management Program of the Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance. In 2022 he won the IDC Best Digital Leader award in Portugal and in 2025 the career award from Revista Segurança.

He has taught executive management programs on topics ranging from leadership to the digital maturity of organizations, including cybersecurity, in particular the role that digital literacy plays in preserving democracy in today’s societies. He is currently a Principal Teaching Fellow at AESE.

Maria de Fatima Carioca
Maria de Fátima Carioca Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

Since 2014, she has been Director-General of AESE Business School and Professor in the area of Human Factor in the Organization, since 2005.
He is a member of the Executive Committee of the AESE Business School Alumni Group.

She holds a PhD in Management from Manchester Business School – The University of Manchester, a degree in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, and a Master’s in Systems and Computer Engineering from the same university. She also holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family from the University of Navarra.

At AESE, she coordinates initiatives and studies in the areas of People Management, Talent, the Future of Work, Work–Family Balance, Family Businesses, Leadership and Business Ethics. She is the author of several articles and case studies and a co-author of several books, including “Free Markets with Sustainability and Solidarity: Facing the Challenge”, “O que deves saber sobre ética”, “Esperança e Reinvenção” and, more recently, “O Futuro do Trabalho”.

Co-founder of Edisoft – a software services and development company, where she held various roles in Business and People Management for around 20 years.

She is married and the mother of three children.

Agostinho Abrunhosa post site
Agostinho Abrunhosa Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

Since 2021 he has been Director of the Executive MBA AESE.
He is a Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group of AESE Business School.
He is Professor of Operations, Technology and Innovation, Secretary-General and Member of the Board of AESE in charge of operations.

He holds a PhD from the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. He did the Executive MBA at AESE/IESE. He has a degree in Business Management and Organization from ISEG – Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão.

He was a consultant, trainer and developed much of his professional activity in information systems and technologies. He has collaborated with AESE since 1986, having worked in several functional areas.

He loves to read, walk, garden, and auto mechanics.

Rui Pereira da Silva
Rui Pereira da Silva Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

He is a Partner at KPMG Advisory Consultores de Gestão, S.A., a member of the Executive Committee of the AESE Business School Alumni Group and is involved in several volunteer activities.

With a degree in Business Management from the Lusíada University of Lisbon, he attended training programs, including Management Industry Program at Cranfield University, Management Program at ESADE, Post-Graduation in e-business at the Higher Institute of Economics and Management, Senior Business Management Program at AESE and Advanced Program for Non-Executive Administrator at IPCG – Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance.

He began his career as a systems analyst at Millennium/BCP and held relevant positions in several companies in the areas of consulting and information systems, of which IBM and SAP stand out. Later, as an entrepreneur, he created the company Solidnetworks Consulting, which was later acquired by the Reditus Group and Green Avenue Consulting, which was partially acquired by the HCapital Fund and then integrated by merger into HCCM Consulting, SA where he was Director and CEO.

Antonio Quintas
António Quintas Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

He is Chief Financial Officer of Accenture in Portugal.
He is a member of the Executive Committee of the AESE Business School Alumni Group and is involved in various volunteering activities.

With a degree in Auditing from the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração de Lisboa, he attended Management and Leadership training programs, namely at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid and the Senior Management Program at AESE.

At Accenture he developed several corporate projects and directly with clients, namely in the development of some start-ups in the service sector and in the financial sector. Collaborating in the implementation of the Finance & Accounting structure but also in the interconnection with corporate control.

Motorized sports and walking, preferably by the sea, are part of the preferences.

José Miguel Oliveira Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

Married and father of two daughters.

He was an auditor and consultant at PwC and financial director/corporate development at the Nors, Efacec and Rangel Groups. He is currently an associate partner at KPMG in the Deal Advisory – M&A area

He holds a bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate in management from the Faculty of Economics of Porto, a Post-Doc from the University of São Paulo and a postgraduate degree in Business Valuations and M&A from the Catholic University and INSEAD.

He attended the 47th PADE.

Jaquelina Vieira Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

Since 2022, he has been Head of Data Science and AI at the Analytical Intelligence Center of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, where he leads multidisciplinary teams in the development of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions, with an impact on the bank’s digital transformation.
With a degree in Business Management from ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, she has extensive executive training in areas such as banking, digital transformation and leadership. He completed the Executive MBA from AESE Business School in 2024.

With more than 27 years of experience in the financial sector, he has held leadership roles in several areas of CGD, with a strong focus on talent management, innovation and operational excellence.

She is a mentor in the institution’s internal talent development program.

Reading, meditation and running are his main hobbies.

Diogo Furtado Lopes
Diogo Furtado Lopes Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

He is responsible for the Energy and Utilities sector at Inetum Iberia and LATAM.

He is a member of the Executive Committee of the AESE Business School Alumni Group.

He has a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), a master’s degree in Energy from IST, a master’s degree in Sustainability and Energy Systems from MIT, a master’s degree in Digital Transformation from IST, a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from Católica Lisbon Schhol of Business & Economics and an Executive MBA from AESE Business School.

He began his career in consulting, in facility management and energy efficiency projects at Royal Haskoning DHV. He then joined the EDP group as supervisor of the high voltage distribution network. Different management positions followed in the area of electricity distribution. He has participated in multiple European projects focusing on the creation and specification of new actors in the value chain of the electricity system, the validation of aggregating entities and the creation of market hubs through the incorporation of energy management systems. Currently, and after stints at Capgemini and the Vinci group, he assumes responsibility for the Energy and Utilities sector at Iberia and America level at Inetum.

He is a visiting professor at several universities, where he teaches statistics, project management, logistics, decision theory, among others. He is the author of multiple scientific articles on topics related to the electricity sector.

His hobbies are reading books and listening to audiobooks of both history and scientific nature, but what he values most are the times he lives with family and friends.

Sílvia Gonçalves Member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Group

She has been Director of People Development at Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda, S.A., since June 2020.

She is a member of the Executive Committee of the AESE Business School Alumni Group

With a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, with a Post-Graduation in Labour Law from the same institution, she completed the Business Management Programme (PDE) at AESE Business School in 2023.

She began her career as a lawyer in different services of the Public Administration, including the performance of management positions in the area of human resources, namely as Deputy Director-General in the Directorate-General for Administration and Public Employment. In a career dedicated to the public sector, it is also worth mentioning the advice provided in support offices for members of the government, as an assistant responsible for the legal area.

At the top of the priorities for free time are travel, the beach and the cinema, always in the company of family and friends.
