Porque a negociação está  muito dispersa nas nossas atividades diárias, sejam profissionais ou pessoais, este Short Program é  focado na negociação como parte integrante do processo de gestão.
Consideremos por um momento que uma percentagem de seu dia de trabalho é gasto a negociar. Ao mesmo tempo, considere que já deve ser um bom negociador, ou não estaria na posição que ocupa. Porque já desenvolveu um estilo próprio de negociação através de suas próprias experiências, não podemos esperar mudanças radicais no estilo e nas sessões que teremos juntos. O que podemos esperar é formalizar as suas experiências, e analisar criticamente sobre o que poderia ser, para si, um processo intuitivo. Isto irá  permitir-nos estabelecer um quadro que irá ajudá-lo a aumentar a sua aprendizagem cada vez que estiver envolvido numa nova negociação.
O seu progresso nas nossas sessões de negociação dependerá  apenas de si. Porque a negociação é uma capacidade, só há uma maneira de melhorar: a prática. E a prática desta habilidade, como qualquer outra, deve ser acompanhada de uma análise crítica das suas experiências e pelo compromisso de melhorar até que as novas habilidades se tornem parte de seu dia-a-dia.
Estratégias Avançadas de Negociação concentra-se nos elementos principais de uma negociação: seus Princípios e Processos. A partir dessa base serão explorados temas que enriquecem e melhoram a negociação, como gestão da tensão entre competir e cooperar, criatividade, estilos pessoais de negociação, gestão de stress entre as partes e a improvisação. Tendo conquistado as capacidades essenciais, veremos como estas habilidades se interligam em grupos com os respectivos papéis de cada negociador, e nas negociações entre várias partes com seus próprios processos de formação de alianças. Iremos utilizar diferentes casos, com níveis crescentes de complexidade ao longo de nossas sessões.. Ambos – você e seu eventual parceiro de negociação – irão receber informações e instruções diferentes para o exercício de simulação. Portanto, a fim de tornar o processo de simulação mais eficaz, ambas as partes devem assumi-lo como sendo absolutamente restrito, antes ou depois da prática de negociação até discutirmos todos o caso em sala de aula.   • Ganhar conhecimento sobre os dilemas da negociação e estabelecer critérios para a tomada de decisão ética
  • Refletir sobre o seu estilo pessoal e o impacto que tem sobre os outros
  • Perceber o quanto negociação depende ao mesmo tempo de intensa preparação e de muita criatividade
  • Desenvolver capacidades de improvisação
  • Gerir possíveis tensões que destroem valor durante uma negociação
  • Aprender a negociar em grupo e conhecer os principais papéis que se pode assumir nestes tipos de negociação
  • Perceber a importância das alianças em negociações entre várias partes com diferentes interesses.

    • Exercício de negociação - Durante as sessões plenárias, terá a oportunidade de concluir uma negociação com um ou mais dos seus colegas;
    • Avaliação em sala - Após completar cada exercício, vamos analisar os resultados em plenário e discutir os principais pontos do exercício;
    • Reflexão da negociação - Nas suas atividades do dia a dia é difícil ter tempo para refletir sobre o seu estilo de negociação pessoal. Depois das negociações, deve procurar manter um diário para registrar seus pontos fortes, o seu aprendizagem e áreas a serem abordadas a fim de melhorar as suas habilidades de negociação.
