Um especialista em cibersegurança referiu recentemente: “Só há 2 tipos de empresas: as que já foram atacadas e as que vão ser atacadas”.
O contexto não é animador, o impacto do acesso indevido a informação crítica de negócio pode ser enorme, as fugas partem muitas vezes de dentro, a pegada digital é cada vez maior, quer na vida profissional como pessoal e as notícias de perdas de dados de utilizadores sucedem-se mesmo em organizações com orçamentos gigantescos de IT. Sucedem-se as histórias de pessoas e organizações que ficaram reféns de ataques de ransomware (encriptação de dados para receber resgates) ou sistemas comprometidos por um simples link ou anexo num email que param empresas durante semanas com todos os prejuízos daí decorrentes.
