Foi uma oportunidade ótima para ampliar a minha visão, refletir sobre as competências de liderança e trocar experiências com outros gestores de topo.
Sublinharia três aspetos: primeiro, organização, conteúdo e metodologia pedagógica, segundo, a geração de novas relações pessoais e terceiro a logística.
Quanto ao primeiro aspeto, o programa tem objetivos claros, um conteúdo abrangente, relevante e atualizado, uma metodologia (a dos casos) e uma estrutura modular adequadas, professores qualificados, experientes, capazes de estimular a reflexão, o debate e o foco na aplicação prática do conhecimento. Com relação à metodologia dos casos, revelou-se adequada, ao proporcionar a analise de situações reais de negócios, estimular o pensamento critico, a discussão de diferentes estratégias e a troca de experiências entre os participantes e assim proporcionar a aprendizagem da tomada de decisões complexas.
Quanto ao segundo aspeto, de criação de rede de relações pessoais, diria mesmo de amizades, a experiência é extraordinária, pois cria conexões autênticas e duradouras, fruto de o Programa decorrer num ambiente onde se trocam experiências, compartilham desafios, se celebram resultados, com colegas, com quem se cria confiança. O programa é excelente no sentido de facilitar encontros, eventos e atividades, que promovem o fortalecimento de relacionamentos pessoais e profissionais, com destaque para a semana do Programa em Nova Iorque, ajudando a construir uma rede de contatos sólida e de apoio mútuo.
Enfim, entendo que não se deve subestimar a importância da competente e eficiente logística do Programa, é que uma logística eficiente, como é o caso do PADE, cria um ambiente confortável, organizado e acolhedor, essenciais para que nos possamos concentrar no conteúdo, nas trocas e no fortalecimento das nossas relações profissionais e pessoais. O profissionalismo dos professores e demais colaboradores, bem como as ótimas instalações, da AESE, fazem com que tudo aconteça de forma organizada e pontual, desde as aulas e materiais necessários, até a programação das atividades
Em síntese, trata-se de uma experiência que considero um investimento, enriquecedora e inspiradora no desenvolvimento das capacidades de liderança, que acredito reforça a nossa competência para melhor servir as nossas empresas e que proporciona um ambiente de relacionamento humano que fortalece a nossa vida interior. No entanto, consegui(mos) alcançar um excelente resultado. Foram seis meses exigentes, mas de uma aprendizagem profunda.
A metodologia do PADE, baseada em casos debatidos em grupo e em discussões orientadas pelos professores, permite assimilar os temas de forma duradoura. Num ambiente de confiança, com colegas de setores e experiências diversas, temos oportunidade de debater os casos de estudo e também problemas reais da vida profissional, percebendo que muitos desafios são comuns. Esta partilha foi extremamente enriquecedora.
A quem pondera fazer o programa, deixo um conselho: não adiem! Vão, sem dúvida, beneficiar imenso. Há duas regras devem ser seguidas: não faltem nem cheguem atrasados aos almoços que iniciam cada sessão semanal – momentos valiosos para fortalecer relações; e preparem bem os casos – o Professor Pedro Pimentel disse algo muito verdadeiro: o que se retira dos casos é proporcional ao tempo investido na sua preparação. Sem preparação, é apenas como um debate assistido passivamente mesmo se optamos por intervir pouco valor acrescentamos; com preparação, a aprendizagem é ativa e transformadora. Isto é uma forma de aprendizagem que se cola a nós como um se fosse um update de um novo sistema operativo.
Acresce que a discussão em grupo permitiu-me conhecer uma diversidade enorme de perspetivas de pessoas interessantíssimas com experiências muito distintas.
