O Plano Nacional Energia e Clima (PNEC) estabelece para 2030 a meta de 47% de incorporação de fontes renováveis no consumo final de energia no nosso país. Este objectivo implica duplicar a capacidade instalada em tecnologias renováveis para a produção de electricidade. A Amazon conseguiu aumentar a sua receita dez vezes na última década, comparado a um crescimento de 20% nas vendas globais da Walmart. Com a aquisição da Whole Foods, a Amazon fez uma entrada agressiva no mundo off-line, desafiando diretamente a Walmart no seu maior negócio.
