No Lunch & Masterclass, os dirigentes e executivos terão a oportunidade de debater um caso de Liderança e Tecnologia.
Depois de um almoço volante, os participantes irão ter uma Masterclass onde irão experimentar o Método do Caso - abordagem original de Harvard, utilizada nos programas da AESE – para discutir um dilema real de uma empresa.
Será desafiado a colocar-se no lugar da equipa digital da Nike, na avaliação de como cada uma das iniciativas no metaverso pode ajudar a marca a fazer crescer receitas e a promover a sua posição de liderança inovadora; e ainda a priorizar estas iniciativas, avaliando os seus riscos, recompensas e reversibilidade. Os participantes vão aprender a a definir um roteiro para escalar e reforçar cada ação.
Na tomada de decisões, os participantes não deverão esquecer que ao traçar a sua estratégia no metaverso, também é importante para a Nike considerar se este é o momento certo para fazer grandes apostas em plataformas e ativos, dado o elevado nível de incerteza sobre a evolução deste espaço.

O objetivo da sessão é que o participante se coloque no lugar do novo executivo de topo de uma empresa, quando tudo muda simultaneamente na organização: propriedade, conselho de administração, direção sénior e equipa de gestão. E tudo isto enquanto a empresa vive uma situação complicada do ponto de vista do negócio e financeira.
Para isso, em primeiro lugar, será necessário abordar a evolução da empresa, desde o seu IPO até ao momento em que o novo executivo assume a responsabilidade da empresa, do ponto de vista do negócio, organização e propriedade e governação. Posteriormente, será necessário decidir que ações prioritárias seria conveniente implementar para alcançar a continuidade da empresa. Em concreto:

• Como enfrentar o processo de assumir o controlo da empresa?
• Quais as prioridades a ter em conta para recuperar a empresa? Que papel deve assumir o CEO? Quais as perguntas que necessitam resposta no curto prazo?
• Que assuntos deve ver com o conselho de administração?

A empresa DIA em 2019 Em 2019, sete anos depois do seu IPO, a DIA, a terceira maior cadeia de supermercados em Espanha em vendas, atravessa a crise mais importante da sua história. Nesse ano, tinha evitado por pouco a situação de falência técnica, graças à intervenção da LetterOne, o fundo de investimento do magnata russo Mikhail Fridman, que após uma aquisição longa, complexa e controversa, se tinha tornado o acionista maioritário da empresa. Uma das primeiras decisões da LetterOne tinha sido a nomeação, em maio de 2019, de Karl-Heinz Holland como novo CEO da empresa.
