Para isso, será estudado o caso de uma clínica, para perceber os passos que as organizações têm de dar para serem mais eficientes; na segunda sessão, os participantes ficarão a conhecer um modelo que, de uma forma simples mas completa, permite aos dirigentes criar um plano de ações que os leve a ser mais eficientes, a responder com mais precisão às necessidades dos seus clientes, e assim serem mais competitivos.
No módulo de introdução às Finanças Corporativas procura-se ajudar a entender as Demonstrações de Resultados e Balanços, e ir um pouco mais longe e aprender a analisar e diagnosticar a situação financeira da empresa e das eventuais causas que podem estar por detrás de situações financeiras difíceis. O conhecimento das causas é um primeiro passo para dar os remédios oportunos e antecipar os seus efeitos previsíveis. A experiência demonstra que, com um mínimo de rigor e método, os participantes aprendem a retirar conclusões relevantes para o andamento das empresas, capacitando-os para tomar decisões fundamentadas.
A direção de uma equipa de vendas pressupõe um cuidado e uma atenção concreta às e aos vendedores, aos instrumentos motivacionais e às políticas. Quem a dirige pode, com uma atitude errada, frustrar e paralisar uma força de vendas, e fazer algo que a concorrência agradecerá seguramente: ter o vendedor a discutir com a sua chefia sobre as injustiças a que está sujeito. Os casos constituem desafios que exigem respostas eficazes perante uma análise rigorosa de informação limitada ou até insuficiente, em contextos ambíguos ou complexos do ponto de vista político-económico. O diagnóstico individual e as decisões são negociadas com colegas experientes, talentosos e ambiciosos.

Fases do Método do Caso

O estudo individual dos casos é seguido de uma discussão em grupo. Os Learning Teams ajudam a preparar os casos num ambiente colaborante, criando a oportunidade para pôr as ideias à prova. As salas de aula da sede foram especialmente desenhadas a pensar no ensino com o Método do Caso.

Este é o objetivo do short program “Finanças para não Financeiros” – com base em casos práticos e em simuladores de gestão, aprender e trabalhar em equipa métodos de análise financeira que suportem o diagnóstico e a decisão.
A gestão das organizações implica decisões de curto ou de médio e longo prazo. As diferentes abordagens tornam relevante o conhecimento de conceitos e técnicas na perspetiva da contabilidade e controlo de gestão, como na perspetiva da gestão financeira das organizações. Reconhecendo esta realidade, o short program “Finanças para não Financeiros” adapta-se aos distintos objetivos dos participantes organizando-se em dois módulos sequenciais e complementares:
• Contabilidade financeira, análise de custos e controlo de gestão; • Finanças operativas e finanças estruturais do negócio
Em função das suas necessidades individuais, os participantes poderão inscrever-se em ambos os módulos ou apenas naquele onde necessitam de atualização específica de conhecimentos.
Cada módulo, distribuído por 2 dias completos, será composto por cerca de 8 sessões, a maioria das quais dedicada suportadas em casos práticos de estudo, completadas por sessões pontuais de fundamentação técnica.
