The challenge was enormous: returning to the classroom for several months, studying at home and reconciling everything with an intense professional life seemed impossible. However, we have managed to achieve an excellent result. It was a demanding six months, but one of deep learning.
The PADE methodology, based on cases discussed in groups and discussions guided by teachers, allows the themes to be assimilated in a lasting way. In an environment of trust, with colleagues from different sectors and experiences, we have the opportunity to debate case studies and also real problems of professional life, realizing that many challenges are common. This sharing was extremely enriching.
To those who are considering doing the program, I leave a piece of advice: don’t postpone! They will undoubtedly benefit immensely. There are two rules to be followed: do not miss or be late for lunches that start each weekly session – valuable moments to strengthen relationships; and prepare the cases well – Professor Pedro Pimentel said something very true: what is taken from the cases is proportional to the time invested in their preparation. Without preparation, it is just like a passively watched debate, even if we choose to intervene, we add little value; With preparation, learning is active and transformative.
