With a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, she more recently completed the 17th AESE Executive MBA at AESE Business School, where she also teaches Corporate Strategy today. In addition to this core education, she has developed her management and leadership skills at institutions such as INSEAD, IESE Business School, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and Porto Business School.
As EMEA Sales Director at PwC, Sara is focused on developing the Oracle business in the region, leading multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. She has developed her entire career in IT, working for companies such as Siemens, Altran, and Novabase. For the last 10 years, she has been exclusively dedicated to business development in international software houses—Oracle and, more recently, OpenText. At the latter, in addition to managing the business in Portugal, she led strategic initiatives at the EMEA level and managed the Women in Tech project, which focuses on the strategic career development of women within the organization through training and mentoring.
She is married and the mother of two girls, and her greatest ambition is for them to grow up believing they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
