I begin this testimony with the quote above, as I believe that we should seize every opportunity to become better people. While I was reflecting on whether or not to advance to the MBA, I confronted a series of fears, personal, family, professional, with a huge need for evolution, to be able to become a better man tomorrow, with more skills in a process of personal enhancement and contribution to society.
My experience in the Executive MBA program was a very intense and extremely rewarding journey, which transcended all my expectations. They were very challenging, overcoming and extremely enriching months, while the abandonment of my comfort zone was revealed.
I had the opportunity to acquire a series of knowledge, in a path of constant learning, which contributed to develop my thinking and approach to business and leadership of companies/people, always based on ethical principles.
The quality of the faculty was impactful, in fact the professors had a high knowledge and mastery of the subjects studied, but they also managed to get the involvement and participation of the class, something that made the MBA very enriching. While their exhibitions brought new knowledge and visions about different areas of business and human relations, the students completed with their professional and life experiences extending the academic component to the real world.
The debate in class of the various cases analyzed, which the case method followed by AESE promotes, transformed the class into an environment of enormous reflection, learning and construction of a sense of team spirit.
At the same time that the program offered a very relevant networking platform, it enhanced the creation of bonds of friendship that will last for life. People who were total strangers before the start of the MBA, quickly went from classmates to friends that I will cherish.
The end of the MBA not only guarantees me a degree with recognition, but also an increased sense of responsibility, a greater business maturity, a valuable network of contacts and invaluable friends.
