The ability to work and focus on solutions are values that he has imprinted in his professional activity, in the Luís Simões Group, where he is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 1992, he received a diploma from AESE for his participation in PADE – Senior Management Program, a Business School for which he holds high esteem. Here he held the position of 1st President of the AESE Alumni Group.

What are the main milestones in your professional career, which contributed to reaching the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Luis Simões?
The way in which we have overcome each of the crises that have arisen, over more than 70 years of history; With a lot of work, always focused on the necessary solutions at each moment.
What were your main achievements?
Without a doubt, it is handing over the company to the successors better than I received it.
What are the main lessons that make you the leader you are today?
Overcoming my limitations to work with many who know more than me, being able to learn from them and, at the same time, feeling that they too have become better professionals. So we built solutions to maintain the enthusiasm of our people and customers.

If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?
I would try not to make the same mistakes more than once.

To enjoy new technologies and, with them and the natural limitations that age imposes on me, to continue to find ways to help build the future.
