Joana Ogando is a Pharmacist with over 20 years of experience and obtained the specialty in Pharmaceutical Industry from the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society (Ordem dos Farmacêuticos) in 2009.
She is currently Business Development Director at Bene Farmacêutica, Lda. She is a non-executive director at Sea4Us.
She complemented her education with several training programmes, notably the AESE/IESE MBA in 2013. She also holds a postgraduate qualification in Quality in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt).
She was a founding partner of 3D Spot, a 3D printing company.
In 2022, she launched her own agricultural project at Quinta das Várzeas, in Cartaxo. Since 2014, she has been a Teaching Fellow in Operations, Technology and Innovation at AESE.
She is married and has two children.
