Although in the same year I had already completed a postgraduate training in health management, PADIS has now brought me a renewed vision, combining technical excellence with a deeply human and ethical approach to leadership.

The richness of the program lies in the analysis of real cases, which challenges us to reflect and face the challenges of management with a more conscious and comprehensive perspective, always leading to intense and dynamic discussions among the participants. The thematic colloquia complemented this learning by addressing current and inspiring topics, reinforcing the impact of our decisions on a daily basis and on the transformative role of leadership.

Participating in AESE’s 47th PADIS was a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. Throughout this journey, I was able to reflect on the importance of effective and inspiring leadership in health institutions, something so essential in current times.

The program addressed modern, current and highly inspiring topics, which challenged me to rethink my practice and to constantly seek the best for the teams and the organization in which I have Leadership responsibilities or others that I will lead.

I would like to leave a special thanks to the Professors who guided us with such rigor and dedication. Engineer Adolfo González and Dr. José Fonseca Pires were authentic pillars of this course, with their unique ability to transmit knowledge in a clear, deep and practical way. His interventions were always marked by a humanistic and strategic approach, reminding us of the relevance of balancing efficiency and humanity in all our decisions. With their contagious energy, empathy and unique ability to create a welcoming environment, they encouraged interpersonal knowledge, companionship and the active participation of the whole group.

Thanks to everyone, we feel that we have not only learned, but also built genuine bonds that are sure to endure. I cannot fail to highlight Teresa, whose contribution was absolutely fundamental to the success of the course. The program was not just about theory or practice; It was also about people. I had the privilege of meeting colleagues from the most diverse areas, each with their own experience and perspective. These exchanges have enriched the course in a unique way, allowing me to learn from different points of view and forming friendships that go beyond the professional realm. This spirit of companionship and solidarity was one of the aspects that I valued most in this experience.

In addition, PADIS was an incredible platform for networking. The sharing of ideas and experiences between colleagues brought precious insights that I will take with me throughout my life. Knowing that we are connected with such competent and inspiring professionals is a real asset.

Finally, I would like to express my deep gratitude to AESE and the entire PADIS team for the care they have taken in every detail throughout the program. This experience was, without a doubt, enriching and important for anyone who has or will have management positions in health institutions. I leave this course with a renewed vision, new skills and the certainty that this was an essential milestone in my training.
