What I appreciate most about the Case Method is not so much the fact that it puts us in front of real situations of entrepreneurs/decision-makers, analyzes them in depth, decides on them and makes explicit action plans. This is important.
But what I keep most is what is gained in confidence in decision-making, what is developed in the ability to listen, to gain the word, to argue, to learn to know when to back down, to emphasize, characteristics that are unparalleled in relation to any other teaching method and that make a difference in the day-to-day business. I also like to compare it to a race.
First, the Method motivates you to read, study and reflect. It is where much of the value is. In a race, training is crucial to success.
In the Method, he was enriched in the confrontation with the reflection of the other. In a race, what makes us move forward is, above all, the opponent’s step.
